ATTENDANCE
Students are required to attend all area activities and Ateneo-based sessions. Completion of attendance is part
of the Philosophy 101/102 requirement.
Students are required to attend these pre-area engagement activities:
1. Classroom Orientation
2. Integration Session
3. Area Orientation
OSCI-JEEP Required Documents to be submitted before Area Engagement (AE):
1. Student profile sheet and reply slip signed by a parent or declared official guardian, and conforme
2. Medical assessment form from the Health Services or their personal physician

Monitoring Cards are the basis of the students’ attendance in the area
engagements. Do not tamper with your time card.
- Improper
uniform means NO ATTENDANCE.
Guidelines for Make-up Session
- For any missed Area Engagement, make-up should be done after the original engagement weeks, i.e. buffer weeks allotted for each batch.
- For an academic-related absence (e.g. long test, make-up class), the student must submit to the formator an excuse letter noted by the concerned professor at least two (2) days BEFORE the scheduled duty day.
- For absence due to sickness or death in the family, the student must submit to the formator an excuse letter
(supported with necessary documents: medical certificate, etc.) at most
two (2) days AFTER he/she comes back to school.
- If the student misses an Ateneo-based activity, he/she may join the scheduled make-up activity.
DEMEANOR
- All policies and guidelines that apply inside the school also apply while in the area.
- Students are highly encouraged to commute going to and from the area.
- Students who are caught tampering with their time cards/attendance monitoring cards will be dealt with accordingly.
- NO smoking within the vicinity of the area.
- NO wearing of jewelries.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE
In instances when your number and address are asked, politely tell them that you are not allowed to give the information.
In handling conflicts:
1. with co-employee, customer, please immediately bring these to the attention of your supervisor or monitor
2. with supervisors or monitors, please inform your OSCI formator immediately.
In instances when your supervisors or monitors ask you to do tasks outside your job description, you may accept the assignment if you think you can do it. But never go on errands that would require you to leave the vicinity of the area or institution.
